ABOUT rbsn.ai

rbsn.ai exists because its founder (Shea K. Robison) saw a unique opportunity to help architects, engineers, and construction company (AEC) owners through the sudden emergence of AI. Beyond the basic capacities of ChatGPT that most people are familiar with, powerful tools for organizing and doing most of the mundane tasks of running a business are now available. The problem is most business owners are too busy running their businesses to be able to take the time to learn how to make and use these tools. This is where rbsn.ai comes in.

The focus of rbsn.ai is in the AEC industry because that is the industry Shea also works in and knows from the inside. rbsn.ai also focuses on small to mid-sized AEC firms for two reasons: The benefits of AI for businesses of this size are particularly dramatic, but most businesses this size think they are priced out of such sophisticated tools. The reality is with the right information and guidance, business owners at this level can realize exponential increases in productivity and revenue at surprisingly reasonable costs.

ABOUT SHEA K. ROBISON

Shea K. Robison is the founder of rbsn.ai and a senior Revit designer with six years in the AEC industry.

Before entering construction technology, Robison spent more than ten years as a university researcher and lecturer with a doctorate in political science. As a researcher, Shea wrote and spoke about artificial intelligence years before ChatGPT brought AI to mainstream attention. He saw the technology's trajectory and where academia was headed, so he left academia in 2019 to retrain in the AEC industry. Starting at a small structural engineering firm in Nampa, Shea worked his way up from entry-level, with stints as a drafting lead and drafting manager at a local construction company, to positions at multi-national engineering firms, culminating in his current position.

Robison currently works full-time as a senior Revit designer at a major semiconductor manufacturer while running rbsn.ai. He initially built the company's automation tools for his own workflows first, then learned how to integrate AI into his design work. When he saw the exponential leaps in capacities and abilities this brought, he saw how much others could benefit as well.
